Director Jennifer Lynch (SURVEILLENCE), seductive Bollywood star Mallika Sherawat (MURDER), F/X master Robert Kurtzman (FROM DUSK TIL DAWN, ARMY OF DARKNESS), the film’s villainous American star Jeff Doucette (DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES), producer Govind Menon and co-producer William Keenan will all be appearing at the show for a special panel discussion where they will unveil never-before-seen clips and afterwards sign autographs at the official FANGORIA booth for the hordes of fans in attendance.

HISSS is a modern day retelling of the ancient tale of the ichhadahari nagin (snake woman) and follows a ruthless American, fascinated by the ancient folklore of the mythical creature, who travels to the jungles of India to discover the truth. He finds and captures the nagin’s mate for the magical powers of its nagmani, a mythical gem embedded in its hood. The nagin then transforms into a gorgeous femme fatale and follows him back into the modern world to track down her lover and wreak revenge on his captors and all who stand in the way of their reunion.

The “Snake Woman” genre is massive, and has generated more fans worldwide then the entire vampire and werewolf genres combined. And Mallika Sherawat has quite the fanbase of her own, having been voted one of Maxim Magazines ‘Most Desirable Women on the Planet”, with over a billion Asians proclaiming her to be the sexiest woman in the world.

With a high profile director, stellar cast and some of the most amazing special effects ever created for a Bollywood production, HISSS looks to be the SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE of the horror set. In fact, also starring in the film is SLUMDOG’s own Irrfan Khan!

An ethnic look for Kangana

KANGANA Ranaut is going all Indian. After creating influence in western wear, the actress has now turned toward desi kind of song with Bobby Deol in her next film Roshan.
Kangana has worn chiffon saries,bangles , jewellery ,etc. In the song shot in the Egyptian desert.
“She looks like a dream in black, cream and beige coloured saries .Her smoky eyes add that special zing to her curly hair and sensual dance movements,” says a source from the sets.
“Like Nanhe jaislmer, this film too is a small budget one with a message to never give up in life,” says Bobby.

Mallika has a new man in her life

MALLIKA Sherawat has reportedly got a new boyfriend .Rumourd are rife that she is dating a white guy but he is being kept under wraps because of strict instructions by Mallika.
The actress met him while shooting for her international production team. She even went on long holiday in Australia for two whole weeks and undertook sports such as bungee jumping,river rafting and more.The two reportedly plan to go for another holiday to her chalet in the Swiss Alps.
Malika is trying to work out her commitments ,like the charity dinner in California,in between her holidays.

8x10 Tasveer

Intro : ‘8 X 10 Tasveer’ is a Bollywood thriller film starring Akshay Kumar and Ayesha Takia in the lead roles.
The film is directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, and Produced under the banner of ‘Percept Picture Company’.
Sharmila Tagore, Javed Jaffrey, Anant Mahadevan, Girish Karnad, Benjamin Gilani, Rushad Rana, Andrea Tully, and Pia Shah are in the leading star casts in the movie as well.
It was previously called ‘Tasveer’, but changed due to the director's insistence that the title was jinxed. The film's Music given by Salim - Sulaiman with a title track by ‘Bohemia’.

In his latest, Nagesh Kukunoor dumps earthly pleasures for supernatural hi-jinks, He enters a new zone with 8x10 Tasveer: Suspense-thriller. His choice of the genre and subject material is also right. Yet, 8x10 Tasveer goes wrong, horribly wrong.
Jai Puri (Akshay) is a forest ranger in Canada. For over a year he is having a live in relationship with Sheela (Takia) and staying separately from his parents Jatin (Benjamin Gilani) and Savitri (Sharmila Tagore) because he doesn’t approve of his father’s business dealings. Jai is blessed with supernatural powers with which he can look at any photograph and can actually go right into that moment when it was actually clicked. And then one day the latter pops it, in the middle of an ocean, on a pristine-white yatch, surrounded by wife (Sharmila), and cronies (Girish, Anant, Rushad). Accident or murder? Devastated by the loss of his father, and with the help of an awkward Hyderabadi cop in Canada (Javed Jaffery) Jai goes on a quest to unravel the mystery.
Now let's get to the root of the problem: The discrepancies in the script. Of course, 8x10 Tasveer is a whodunit and it would be sacrilege to reveal the end or the identity of the killer, but the reasons that compel the murderer to commit crime after crime are unbelievable and far from convincing.

The moment the truth is out in the open, from that point onwards, the writer doesn't have convincing answers to offer. There are so many gaps that remain wide open till the end.
On the whole, 8 x 10 TASVEER disappoints. The film goes wrong, in fact horribly wrong, in the penultimate 20-25 minutes, which is the lifeline of any suspense-thriller. Nagesh Kukunoor has missed the bus this time!

Only in Cinema Hall. No Piracy

NEETU Chandra has decided to speak up against piracy.She is telling people to watch films in theaters instead pirated disc .She has also raised a slogan,”Only in Cinema Hall. No Piracy”, on a social networking website. Talking about piracy,the actress says many movies are loved by audiences but are never watched in theaters and,therefore,flop.well,Neetu’s film 13b flopped even though it was well received by critics.
